No matter what you do, you can’t get your Camera to turn on.
Before delving into the guts of your Camera, make sure the hold the power button.
If your Camera won’t turn on, try replacing the battery. You can buy a replacement battery from the SONY website.

It is possible that it appears nothing is happening because the display is bad. If the camera turns on but there is no display it is possible the screen is bad and must be replaced.
If the camera turns on but there is no display then it could be a motherboard problem.

The screen could be broken or damaged causing a black or discolored screen.

If nothing happens when the buttons are pressed while the camera is on, the circuit board for the buttons may need to be replaced.
