  • The first step in accessing the audio and/or camera buttons is to remove the back case of the phone and then the battery

  • Next, remove eight 5mm screws as shown in the image. Use a T-6 bit.

  • Using a case opener (a guitar pick works as well), start on the bottom right side of the phone and undo clips located at the interior sides. Repeat this step for the left side.

  • The phone should now look like this. The Volume button is indicated by the larger yellow circle, and the camera button is indicated by the smaller and lower yellow circle.

Step 5

  • The volume button (left) and the camera button (right) lift right out of the phone as shown in the picture. From here you can clean them or replace them.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
