What you need

Step 1

              Audio Jack               
  • The audio jack is located on the top side of the phone, in the center. To access the audio jack disassemble is necessary.

Step 2

  • Start by having the screen of the phone facing downwards and remove the battery. Remove eight 5mm screws located as shown with a T-6 bit.

Step 3

  • Using a case opener, start on the bottom right side of the phone and undo clips located at the interior sides. Repeat this step for the left side.

Step 4

  • Once the clips are undone the back casing should dislocate and reveal the internal components of the phone. Audio jack location is identified on the image.

Step 5

  • The audio jack can only be accessed if the internal casing is removed. To remove this, apply pressure on the left side of internal casing and using a flat head screw driver unlatch both clips on the right side of casing.

  • Audio Jack is located and easily removed. New component can be inserted.
