Most Common Problems & Probable Solutions:

  1. Inserting & Ejecting the Memory Card: It is very common for the problem to be caused by how you insert or eject the memory card. Not inserting or ejecting properly will cause the memory card or slot to become damaged. Inserting requires you to open the cover, and insert the memory card until it clicks. When you eject the memory card, open the cover and lightly push the memory card in once.

  2. Using the Correct Memory Card/Formatted: In order for the memory card to work functionally you have to make sure the memory card is the correct one for your device and that it is properly formatted. (“Memory Stick PRO Duo” media (Mark2) — 32 GB “Memory Stick PRO Duo” media “Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo” media) or (SD memory card Class 4 or faster 64 GB SD card SDHC memory card SDXC memory card).

Notes:

To ensure stable operation of the memory card, it is recommended to format the memory card with your camcorder before the first use. Formatting the memory card will erase all the data stored on it and the data will be irrecoverable. Save your important data on your PC, etc.

If [Failed to create a new Image Database File. It may be possible that there is not enough free space.] is displayed, format the memory card.

Confirm the direction of the memory card. If you forcibly insert the memory card in the wrong direction, the memory card, memory card slot, or image data may be damaged.

When inserting or ejecting the memory card, be careful so that the memory card does not pop out and drop.

  1. Charging Time: Most of the time people over charge their devices which tend to overheat the battery. It is recommended that you charge the battery in a temperature range of 10 °C to 30 °C (50 °F to 86 °F). If it overheats detach the battery from the device and let it cool down.
