Step 1

              Tape Transport Unit               

• Remove the eight Phillips #00 screws. There are six screws on the bottom of the camera and two screws beneath the back light button.

• Remove the five Phillips #00 cassette side screws.

Remove the five Phillips #00 cassette side screws.

Step 3

• Remove the three Phillips #00 screws located on the top of the lens side cover.

Remove the three Phillips #00 screws located on the top of the lens side cover.

Step 4

• Remove the Phillips #00 screw holding the microphone on.

Remove the Phillips #00 screw holding the microphone on.

Step 5

• Remove the two Phillips #00 screws from lens side cover.

Remove the two Phillips #00 screws from lens side cover.

Step 6

• Slide the lens side cover away from camera.

Slide the lens side cover away from camera.

Step 7

• Remove the Phillips #00 screw from the tape transport slider.

Remove the Phillips #00 screw from the tape transport slider.

Step 8

• Remove the four Phillips #00 screws located on the top of the camera.

Remove the four Phillips #00 screws located on the top of the camera.

Step 9

• Remove the electrical connector from camera.

Remove the electrical connector from camera.

Step 10

• The tape transport unit is now free from the camera.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
