When the power is pressed nothing happens.
Your device is not always to blame for not powering on. There are many instances of people not recognizing that their power cord isn’t working, therefore not charging the device. According to Sony, this device takes 35 minutes to fully charge. If no results are seen by then, your power cord could be broken and need to be replaced.
If you’ve had your device for over 2 years, chances are your battery quality has began to decline. Try connecting your device to a working power source. According to Sony, this device takes 35 minutes to fully charge. If no results are seen by then, your battery may dead and need replacement.

Your device may just be out of power/ have a dead battery. Try plugging it into a working charger for 35 minutes. If your device still won’t power on, it may need to be replaced.
Device speed is not to full potential.
Many people do not have antivirus software installed on their device. In these cases, clicking the wrong link or web page could download a virus. Download one of many free antivirus software and run a check of your computer. If a virus is found, you may need to restore the device to factory settings.
If your device freezes or reduces speed the longer it is powered on, you may have a faulty RAM. You may need to add more RAM to your device, or simply replace the corrupted RAM.

Doing too many things at once on your device can lead to a high expenditure of CPU or memory, which will overheat your device and cause it to run slowly. Close unnecessary programs, uninstall applications that you do not use, and don’t run programs that are too power intensive.
The device will not fully turn on and crashes during start up.
Other symptoms of a hard drive often include disappearing files and strange humming sounds. If the operating system fails to boot due to a damaged hard drive, it may need to be replaced.

If drivers on the device become corrupted or damaged, the device will be unable to start. Start your device in “Safe Mode” in order to default your drivers to factory settings and reboot your computer.
Even though the device has been plugged in for 30+ minutes, the battery percentage will not increase.

Individual keys or every key on the keyboard fails to respond when pressed.
The components of the keyboard may have been disconnected from the rest of the computer. With proper care, it is possible to reconnect the components to the motherboard of the device, which may resolve the issue. If not, the keyboard may need to be replaced.

If you can type outside of your operating system, like on a password screen or pre-bios, your device’s keyboard driver may be outdated or corrupted. Find the internal driver software in “Device Manager” and update your drivers so your device recognizes its own keyboard.
There may be individual keys preventing you from typing correctly. The best way to prevent keys from becoming unresponsive or “sticky” is to prevent dust, dirt, water, and other contaminants from getting between the keys. Take a can of compressed air and spray the whole keyboard in order to remove debris.
If individual keys have been removed from the keyboard, it can be from damage to the plastic hinges that lock them in place. Replace the individual keys and properly attach them to the plastic hinges.
