Introduction

You will need clean hands and the Sony Vaio laptop.

Step 1

              Flat Laptop

Start with the laptop closed on a flat surface.

              Flip

Flip the laptop so the bottom side is facing up.

Flip the laptop so the bottom side is facing up.

              Lock/Unlock

Place your hands on the lock/unlock function on the laptop on either side on the bottom of the laptop and slide.

              Lift

Lift and pull the battery up away from you

              Remove

Carefully remove the battery from it’s slot

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
