- Press firmly on lower portion of the back cover and slide the cover towards the bottom to remove cover.

- Pull on the plug carefully until it releases from the port and simply pull the battery out after.

Speaker
- Pry open the casing with a plastic opening tool .

- Unscrew the five 4.5 mm screws to allow access to the motherboard.
- Lift the motherboard and set it onto the backside of the screen.

- Pry the speaker out of retainer clip with iFixit pry tool.

- Pry the speaker clip from the motherboard using tweezers.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
