What you need

  • Peel back the sticker, using the tweezers on the bottom of the device to reveal the two screws.

  • Unscrew the two T5 screws using the T5 Torx Screwdriver.

Step 3

  • Insert the flat head screwdriver into the edge of the device. Using it as a lever, carefully pry the face-plate up.

  • Carefully grab the ribbon cable with two fingers and pull the yellow ribbon cable upwards away from the motherboard.

  • Remove the screen from of the face-plate.

  • Insert the new screen into the face-plate.

  • Reattach the yellow ribbon cable to the motherboard.

  • Using two hands, hold both ends of the device and snap the two plates together.

  • Re-insert the two T5 screws and tighten.

  • Re-apply the label edges back down to cover the screws.
