When computer is left on for a period of time it will start to overheat, and may become slow or make a loud noise.

Dust could be stuck in the fans which is blocking them from pushing out the hot air from the computer.

Use the thin nozzle of the compressed air duster to blow the dust out of the fans by spraying it directly into the vents located on the back of the device.

If the duster does not work, the fans may need to be replaced. To do this, follow this guide:

Computer is running slowly and won’t run programs or web browser.

When your computer is running slow or the system crashes, this could be due to a faulty RAM or not enough RAM. To fix this problem, you may need to replace the RAM please follow this guide to do so.

The laptop will not turn on or power on even though the power button has been pressed.

Try to plug in the charger to see if the computer would turn on or the charger light is on. If not this is due to a faulty battery. For further instructions follow the guide to show you how to do it correctly.

When plugging in your computer to the charger your power cord may start charging but then stops. It also may have the charger light on but it will not charge your computer. This could be due to a faulty power cord. To fix this problem , buy a new power cord for your computer.

The screen either stays blank when the computer is turned on, or it has dark spots or stripes on its display.

It is possible your screen has malfunctioned or experienced some external pressure that has ruined its display. In this case, the easiest and most economic option is to replace the screen completely. To do this, follow this guide.

The keys are not working when being pressed.

The keys can become sticky and filled with dirt underneath. If this is the case, pry off the effected key with a spudger and used compressed air to remove dirt and dust from the area underneath. Then carefully wipe it down with a damp microfiber cloth. Finally, place the key in its original position and firmly press down on it to snap it back into place.
