- Turn off your laptop before beginning.

- Push the two plastic tabs retaining the battery into the chassis to each respective side. This will push the battery up slightly and release it from the bottom of the notebook.

- Using a finger or small prying device, pull the battery upwards from the recessed area. Then, simply pull the battery out of the notebook and gently set it aside.

RAM Module
- Remove the two 3mm Phillips #00 screws holding the plastic cover over the RAM modules.

- Gently lift the plastic cover. Once the plastic cover is removed, the two RAM cards will be visible.

- Press the silver tabs away from the RAM stick to remove it. Both RAM modules can be removed using this technique.
- Do not touch the gold strip on the RAM card because the oils on your fingers can potentially cause damage to the module.
