  • Remove the 5.8mm Phillip’s #0 screw with Phillip’s #0 screwdriver while prying plastic covering up with metal spudger.

  • Remove plastic covering.
  • Pull up the silver tab to remove the hard drive from the slot.

Pull up the silver tab to remove the hard drive from the slot.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Note: There are two hard drives in this machine. One has a single screw holding it in place within the compartment, and is very straightforward. The other has two screws. After removing the latter, the drive compartment pulls out, sliding over the now empty screw holes.
