What you need

Step 1

              Battery Replacement               
  • Remove the fourteen 3.75mm screws with a Phillips #0 Screwdriver as shown.

  • Gently pull out the battery.

              Cooling Fan               
  • Using a spudger, poke the white tabs in by the battery until you hear a click.

  • Separate the laptop by sliding a spudger in between the black and silver covers.
  • Be sure to use ESD safe tools, we recommend using the iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit.

Step 5

  • Disconnect the Cooling Fan from the Motherboard by gently pulling away on the white tab.

Step 6

  • Unscrew the two 3.75mm screws around the Cooling Fan and the copper attachment as shown with the #0 Phillip’s Head screwdriver.

Step 7

  • Remove the attachment from the Processor by gently rotating and lifting.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
