Removing the outter drive components
- Begin by setting the truck on a large flat service with it’s shell off.
- Hold the tire still and use the 6mm nut driver to remove the tire nut.
- Remove the nut, tire, hex hub and drive pin and place them together so they won’t get lost.

Step 2
Detaching the carrier hub
- Use the 5mm allen wrench to remove the screw from the hub carrier and A-arm connection.
- This screw will not back out all the way by simply turning it counter-clockwise. You will want to turn the screw counter-clockwise until it stops moving, then pull the screw the rest of the way out.
- Rotate the hub upwards and away from the A-arm until the drive-shaft disconnects into two parts.
Use the 5mm allen wrench to remove the screw from the hub carrier and A-arm connection.

Step 3
Removing the A-arm from the chassis
- Use the 5mm allen wrench to remove the screw connecting the A-arm and the chassis.
- This screw will not back out all the way by simply turning it counter-clockwise. You will want to turn the screw counter-clockwise until it stops moving, then pull the screw the rest of the way out.
- Once this screw is removed, the A-arm will be free from the truck! Put the new A-arm in place of the old one and reverse these steps to re-assemble.
Use the 5mm allen wrench to remove the screw connecting the A-arm and the chassis.
