Introduction
Pedals are the least serviced parts of a bike and can become a problem when bushes and bearings are worn. Rough pedals that have a hard knock or don’t release to your cleats should be replaced.
What you need
Step 1
Pedals
- Lock the 7/16" wrench with the pedal and carefully unscrew until it comes off.
- Unscrew the left pedal clockwise and the right pedal counter-clockwise.

Unscrew the left pedal clockwise and the right pedal counter-clockwise.

Step 2
- Replace the old pedal with the new one.
- Screw in the left pedal counter-clockwise and the right pedal clockwise.
Replace the old pedal with the new one.
Screw in the left pedal counter-clockwise and the right pedal clockwise.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
