If your LG KP100 is not turning on, try one of the following steps:

Use the charging cable provided with your phone to charge the battery before attempting to turn the phone on again.

Note: It may take up to 30 minutes before the phone indicates that the charging has begun.

If you have an extra LG KP100 battery or know someone who does, try to get ahold of it. Replace your current battery with one you know works. If the phone now turns on, you know that the old battery is the source of your problem.

It is possible that your phone is on, but your screen is unable to display anything. Try to place a call with your device. If it is successful, follow the necessary steps in the installation guide to replace your screen.

If you have access to another working USB cable designed for the LG KP100, try to connect your phone to the computer with the working cable. If your phone successfully connects, replace your old USB cable with a functioning one.

If the keys are not responding, check to make sure there is nothing loose within the keys. If there is, clean them off or use a compressed air cleaner to dislodge the loose particles.

If the two previous solutions prove to be ineffective, you may need to replace the motherboard for the entire device due to the key contact points going bad. The process to do this can be found here.

When doing many things on your phone for an extended period of time, such as phone calls, using the internet, playing games, etc. the battery can become very warm. This is normal behavior that shouldn’t be worried about. If the battery becomes too hot, however (too hot to touch), you need to contact an authorized LG Service Center.

If your phone is asking for an NCK code, that means that the SIM card you installed is not compatible with this phone. Contact your operator to inform them of your situation, or go ahead and replace it with a SIM card designed for your carrier, by going here.
