Speaker
- Using a J1 Philips head screwdriver, unscrew all four 6.1 mm screws.

- Using a metal spudger, open the monitor from the corner. Slowly slide the spudger around the case to prop open the case.

- Locate the circular speaker in one of the corners of the device. To release the speaker, pinch the metal fastener together and lift it off of the speaker.

- Follow the speaker towards the input on the motherboard. Pull it from the motherboard horizontally for it to loosen easier.
- You may have to wiggle the head of the wire to efficiently remove it from the motherboard.

- Using an angled ESD tweezer, pull back on the black clamp with one hand while lifting the wires with the other hand.
- You will have to apply a large amount of force on the black clamp to get it to move enough to lift the two wires out of it.

Step 6
- Carefully lift the speaker and all of the components in the speaker socket off of the monitor.
- The speaker’s film may be glued down to the socket where it’s held. If this is the case, you must pull it all off and carefully clean it so that you may add the new speaker and ensure it fits with no leftover glue residue from the previous speaker.
