- Remove the shavings container.
- Remove the two 2mm Phillips screws inside with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

- Flip the pencil sharpener to expose the bottom.
- Use a pair of tweezers to remove the two round pads facing the back of the sharpener.
- Remove the two 1.5 mm Phillips screws with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

- Pull the sharpener apart, exposing the internal components.

- Remove the four 1 mm Phillips screws beside the motor with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

- Lift the protective case, revealing the sharpener blades.

- Remove any debris or wood shavings from the blades with your tweezers.
