What you need

Step 1

              USE AND MAINTENANCE TOOLS
  • Each tool has specific characteristics that make it suitable for the type of material to be demolished.
  • To demolish large rocks, it is advisable to start with not too large spikes.
  • Sometimes a cushion of rock dust might form in the hole drilled (Fig). If the dust has not been expelled, the impact force of the tool will discharge onto the dust cushion without cutting into the rock. In this case, to prevent damaging the tool, make another hole until cracking the rock.
  • Fit the tool most suited to the type of work to be done on the hydraulic demolishing hammer.
