Device display will not function properly

Make sure that the device is charged and attempt to power on. From the Home screen, double-swipe the status bar and tap brightness. Ensure that the device brightness is set all of the way to the highest level. If the display still does not function properly replace the display using this guide. Reasons it may have a faulty display is due to a cracked screen.

If the display is physically cracked, follow this guide to replace the screen.

Device will not play audio through headphone jack

Test the audio with a pair of headphones ensuring that they are plugged all of the way into the device headphone jack. Additionally, check your device sound settings to make certain that your volume has not been muted. If the audio is still absent or distorted then you can replace your headphone jack using this guide.

Device will not charge when plugged in

If the device will not charge when plugged in, this is possibly due to a broken charging cable. Try different charging cables before continuing to replace the charging port.

If you have attempted to fully charge the device, using the charging cable provided with the device, and it will not power on. Then, hold the power button for 20 seconds, release, and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds to restart the device. If the device does not restart then replace the device charging port using this guide. Reasons it may have a faulty charging port is due to faulty wiring.

Device will not hold a charge

Ensure that your charging cord is completely plugged into your device and also completely plugged into a functioning power outlet. If you have attempted to charge the device using the charging cable provided with the device for a total of 12 hours and it still fails to power on, then replace the battery in your device using this guide. Reasons there may be a faulty batter is because of faulty connection.
