What you need

Step 1

              Base               
  • Remove the four Phillips #0 screws (9.4mm) located at the bottom of the phone on the back side of the base.

  • Use the spudger to separate the bottom from the top.
  • There are two clips, located top and bottom, that you have to compress with the spudger.

              Charging Wire               
  • Heat up solder joint on the circuit board where the charging wires are connected. Note: This is the CRD- and CRD+ terminals.

  • Note: Ensure the old solder joint is removed.

  • Heat up solder joint on the base unit where the charging wires are connected.

  • Take a wire of solder and apply to joint on board to remove the extra solder.
  • Note: Ensure the old solder joint is removed.
  • Caution: Soldering iron and joint will become very hot.
  • Remove charging wire connection.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
