The Bernoulli drive is a computer disk drive first developed by Iomega in 1983. A Bernoulli drive is like a floppy diskette, but is more rugged, runs faster, and holds more data. However, these disks are still not as fast as a hard drive. Bernoulli disks were available in 5, 10, and 20 MB size and were even available up to 230 MB. This drive was later replaced by the Iomega Jaz drive and Zip drive.
