MetaCrawler, now known as Zoo.com, is a metasearch engine originally developed in 1994 at the University of Washington by Erik Selberg and Professor Oren Etzioni. It provided users with the option to search news, videos, images, white pages, and yellow pages. MetaCrawler blended data from many of the top search engines including Yahoo!, Google, Bing, Ask.com, About.com and others.
