When referring to computer gaming, a race is a group of fictitious characters that share similar looks, abilities, and other traits. For example, in the MMORPG game World of Warcraft, Blood Elf, Draenei, Dwarf, Gnome, Goblin, Human, Night Elf, Undead, and Worgen (shown right) are all different races.
