A selectron tube was an early storage device capable of storing 256 bits of data. It was planned to be used with the IAS computer. The selectron tube was first developed by Jan Rajchman between 1946 and 1948 and was later continued by RCA.

Because of the popularity of magnetic core memory at the time, the Selectron tube was never put into mass production.
