Alternatively called graphic software or photo software, an image editor is a software program used to edit or otherwise manipulate an image, picture or graphic. Popular image editors are Adobe Photoshop and Corel Draw. A free alternative to these programs is GIMP.
Users using Microsoft Windows may also use the pre-installed MSPaint program as a basic image editor.
